THE STORY
"How many are there now? 300?
Very few!"
RAPA, THE LAST WILD HORSES is a celebration of the western lifestyle and its values as a generator of identity worldwide.
The Rapa is one of the most antiques forms of rodeo, a legacy of more than 600 years. Villagers from Sabucedo – an Spanish village with less than 50 inhabitants– preserve something unique: an ancestral and intimate bond with their wild horses. In the mountain, the population of Galician Mountain Horse breed is also decreasing dangerously.
Today both villagers and wild horses live in a mirror situation: the end of the ones would mean the end of the others.
